Garment Sewing 101: KIDS

Is your child curious to learn to sew for themselves?

Garment Sewing 101: KIDS is a sewing class created to introduce garment sewing to kids with basic sewing knowledge that would like to experience sewing their own clothes. We will focus on sewing basics geared towards garment making and construction. We’ll have a quick overview of garment types and fabrics and general ins and outs of garment sewing, discuss proper measuring and sizing all while making their very own PJ bottom.

Prerequisites: Learn to Sew or equivalent basic sewing knowledge

Duration: 4 hours

Location: TBD within the Barrie area, students will be contacted with location.

General Class Policy and Cancellation

In order to give you the best experience possible, we require that students for classes come with their material ready (a detailed email is sent with what you’ll need). Students in our Learn to Sew series need no prior sewing experience but students in other classes will require a basic knowledge of sewing, either by taking the Learn to Sew or have equivalent experience.

Class cancellations are non refundable. Students can cancel up to prior 72hrs prior to their class with the fee being transferred over into a store credit, students that cancel after 72hrs or do not show up forfeit their fee.
