Intro to Apparel

Are you wildly curious about the MeMade movement and would like to start sewing your own clothing? This class is a great place to start!

Intro to Apparel is a beginnger sewing class for those with basic sewing knowledge. We will focus on sewing basics geared towards garment making and construction. We’ll have a quick overview of garment types and fabrics, discuss proper measuring and sizing all while making your very own box tee.

Prerequisites: Learn to Sew or equivalent basic sewing knowledge

General Class Policy and Cancellation

In order to give you the best experience possible, we require that students for classes come with their material ready (a detailed email is sent with what you’ll need). Students in our Learn to Sew series need no prior sewing experience but students in other classes will require a basic knowledge of sewing, either by taking the Learn to Sew or have equivalent experience.

Class cancellations are non refundable. Students can cancel up to prior 72hrs prior to their class with the fee being transferred over into a store credit, students that cancel after 72hrs or do not show up forfeit their fee.
